The Interaction of Basic Fears and Basic Desires in the Enneagram Styles

United States · CE credit & talks · Psychologists

US psychologists, explore the critical interaction of basic fears and desires across the nine Enneagram styles in this insightful talk. Discover how these fundamental, often unconscious, drives shape client behaviour and relational patterns, equipping you with powerful tools to enhance self-awareness and deepen the therapeutic alliance for your American clients.

This talk looks at each of the nine Enneagram styles and how their basic fear and basic desire interact (most often unconsciously). The dance of these two aspects of type result in the behavioural patterns that we observe in the Types.  While noone type has a monopoly on any fear or desire, what we observe when working with they Types, is there is extra "traction" that can be gained in therapy, when we sensitively surface this dance in the client's awareness.
