About Partners

What is a Calabash Partner?

A Calabash Partner is a company, organisation or individual who creates talks, uploads them to the Calabash platform and earns revenue through our sales programme.

What kind of content do Partners create?

Calabash is an accredited online learning platform for mental health practitioners, and our content takes the form of talks. Each talk is a video, and may include a quiz. Most talks are accredited by a professional body, such as the HPCSA in South Africa, and members who complete one receive CE credit and a certificate.

What do Partners earn?

Approved Partners earn a revenue share on every talk sold. The split varies with the agreement reached, but Partners earn the majority share.

How are Partners paid?

Partners are paid monthly into a nominated bank account for every talk sold through the platform. The application process covers this in full.

What benefits do Partners receive?

Calabash gives Partners a way to reach practitioners across several countries and earn revenue from content they already have. We market the platform on your behalf, and once your talks are published you only need to keep them current.

How do Partners manage their content?

Partners get a dashboard for uploading new talks, managing existing ones and reviewing their sales and revenue.

What responsibilities do Partners have?

A Partner is responsible for creating and managing their own content. We provide guidance so our quality standards are met, but producing the video, writing the quiz and obtaining sponsorship rests with the Partner.

What does the application process involve?

Sign up for a Calabash profile first. You can then apply to become a Partner from your profile. We ask for your company or personal details and at least one talk. We review the application together with that talk and come back to you where anything is missing. Once your profile is approved and the agreement is signed, your talks go on sale.
